Oh my goodness, I've been such a bad blogger lately, which is surprising considering I haven't been working for the past month :) We've had lots of new changes lately. We are loving our new ward. Everybody has been so welcoming and friendly, and Ben and I just received great new callings. Ben got called as the first counselor in the young mens, and I got called as an adviser in the young womans. We love them so far. I am going to be starting to nanny part-time for a family here in Wenatchee, and then also travel to Coeur d' Alene a couple times a month to nanny for the family I have been working with for years. I know... Kinda crazy huh?! But I miss them so much, and wouldn't want anybody else with them. And for our last bit of exciting news .... we traded in our Suzuki for a new Toyota Prius. We were spending some much money on gas in our other car since we have been traveling so much. Our new car gets 40-50 mpg and we just love it so much! We are missing all of our friends and family in Spokane so much, but we've really been enjoying Wenatchee and being able to spend so much time with eachother.

I have been working on our second bedroom since we moved into our new apartment and finally got it semi cleaned up and organized ( with lots of help from Ben ) Now we need all of our family and friends to come visit us and put our spare bedroom to use.

ReplyDeleteCute second bedroom kim! I'm jealous yours looks so good, ours is basically a storage room with a bed in it. The car looks nice! That good of gas mileage would be awesome. Congrats on the new nanny job too, you are so lucky you don't have to job hunt, it's the worst.
